Robot
In this essay , I would talk about ROBOT. In the beginning, I would talk about robot's definition and history of robots. In the history part , I have 3 main ideas which are ancient beginning, Early modern developments and modern developments.Second, I would talk about different kinds of robots. There are mobile robot , Industrial robots , and service robot. Third, I would talk about the Contemporary uses, such as in school, healthcare , research robots and dirty、dangerous、dull or inaccessible tasks. Fourth, I would about robots in future development. For example,Technological trends , Technological development and Reading robot. Finally, I would about problems with implementing robots in society.

To my best friend
Dear Ting lei,
How are you！I have not seen you about three years. I miss you a lot. How is your life?
When I came to the United States of America three years ago, English became a tough task for me because I did not learn English before, and I had no idea about America’s culture. I needed a translator to help me wherever I went. When I first came to high school, the librarian took me and my friends to tour the school. But a lot of us did not understand what she said. So she found a student translator for us. The girl spoke excellent English. I promised myself I would use her as my role model and practiced hard until I learned a lot of English.
I remembered when I first entered a history class taught in English. The teacher asked me to touch my nose and to raise my right hand because he wanted to test my English level. At that time I stood still because I didn’t understand English. I felt so ashamed that I wanted to cry, but I held it in as I bit my mouth. I promised myself to spend a lot of time studying English. In the morning, I got a free newspaper. I use my dictionary to translate some new words and I studied them while I was in the train. After school and at Saturday school, I took some classes in ordered to strengthen my English. After 5 p.m., I spent one hour in the library everyday to review the vocabulary I learned. I cooked food and cleaned my house with my brother at night. Before I went to sleep, I reviewed the vocabulary again.
I have new friends in school. My best friends are Bella and Vicky. Bella is a funny girl. She likes to joke with us. We always laugh when she jokes with us. Vicky is a pretty girl. She studies hard all day, and she can speak Chinese, Japanese and English very well, so she often helps my English. I thank her for help, and I help her math too. We learn from each other and help each other. We all think she is a lovely girl. She likes sports very much. She likes playing basketball and badminton very much, so we often play them.
Last summer, I went to work in a Chinese restaurant in Pennsylvania. I worked eleven hours a day. In the morning, I cleaned the floor, tables and chairs. I washed all the glass and dishes at night. I needed to remember the menu. I remember I broke four dishes on the first day. I also needed to clean the bathroom, I cried in the bathroom. I couldn’t control myself to stop crying. It was too bad; too lonely. But, I am more independent than before.
I went to Dorney Park. Dorney Park is an amusement and water park. We rode the most exciting roller coaster.. I am scared when it turned yellow, and also speed up a lot of heart.
I am a freshman in Baruch College. It is a four years college which is good at business. My life is very busy because I have five classes. My major is accounting. How about your major in your college?
I can still vividly recall the impressive scenes you gave. I would greatly appreciate hearing from you soon.
